Scholarship Program

CCSC is deeply committed to ensuring that all kids, regardless of their financial circumstances, have access to our snowsports programs. Our scholarship program provides opportunities for deserving youth to participate in our programs, removing financial barriers and offering life-changing experiences.

For the 2024-25 season, CCSC awarded approximately $28,000 in scholarships to over 100 youth. Scholarships are paid primarily by individual donors and are a direct cash investment from our donors to CCSC youth who qualify.

Please follow these steps PRIOR to registering for any programs. If approved, you will be provided with discount codes to decrease or erase the program fees during registration.

Step 1: Do you qualify for a scholarship?

You may qualify for a scholarship if you:

  • Can demonstrate financial need

  • Have experienced a hardship within the last year (such as divorce, job loss, or medical expense)

You do NOT qualify for a scholarship if you:

  • Cannot demonstrate financial need

  • Are just looking to try a program without investing your dollars

  • Are unwilling to volunteer for CCSC. Here are some options for volunteering (one event required):

    • Being a snack volunteer on Sunday at Master The Mountain

    • Volunteering at the CCSC Alpine Invitational or Nordic Flying Squirrel Race

    • Being a volunteer at an away race

    • Volunteering for a shift at Crystal Mountain Ski Swap

    • Volunteer roles at one of our Warren Miller events

    • Volunteering at other CCSC fundraising events

Step 2: You may qualify for Every Kid Sports

Every kid Sports is the national non-profit providing financial support to kids from income-restricted families for sports registration fees. Crystal Community Ski Club provides for a recreational sport lasting at least four weeks. As a result the CCSC programs qualify for Every Kid Sports. Here are the participant requirements for a scholarship through Every Kid Sports:

  • Your child is currently enrolled in Medicaid, SNAP or WIC.

  • Your child is between the ages of 7-18.

If you meet the above criteria, click here to submit your application to Every Kid Sports. Please do this before moving forward to step 3.
