While some athletes gravitate toward complex technical information, most, if not all, young athletes understand and respond to simple communication. It is important to remember that we each view athletes through different lenses.

Please first review the content from the CCSC Alpine Movement Analysis presentation which can be found here. Then use the following video to hone your skills.

Observation – Observe and describe the tool/snow interaction.

Evaluation – Aids in assessing your observations and distilling complex technical information into simplified, accurate conclusions.

Prescription – The skier/rider’s (student, instructor or athlete) goals as the basis for your plan, combined with observation and evaluation, will guide the prescribed pathway.
