CCSC ELITEAM: An Unforgettable Weekend

What a weekend! The CCSC ELITEAM Camp brought athletes, coaches, volunteers, and two-time Olympian Doug Lewis together for two days of training, learning, and plenty of hard work.

ELITEAM challenged athletes to think about what it takes to become a better athlete—not just on the snow, but in every part of their training and preparation.

The weekend focused on strength, speed, balance, power, agility, sports psychology, and performance under pressure. And yes, there were plenty of burpees along the way!

Doug brought nonstop energy, enthusiasm, and a wealth of experience to every session. Our athletes pushed themselves, worked together, and learned what it means to approach their sport with grit, confidence, and purpose.

The response from our athletes, coaches, and volunteers was incredible—and we were already hearing the question before the weekend was even over:

“Can we do this again next year?”

We certainly hope so!

A huge thank you to Doug Lewis, our coaches, volunteers, Crystal Mountain, and every athlete who showed up ready to work and learn. We are excited to see where this group goes next!
