MIDDLE SCHOOL SKI TEAM
Grades 6 - 8 | $375
Take racing to the next level with the CCSC Middle School Ski Team! For students from 6th to 8th grades, racers will enhance their race skills and participate in ski invitationals at various ski areas in the region.
This is a wonderful way to grow the love for racing and make friends with other racers in our area!

Skill Requirements
Experienced Skiers
Students need to be able to make continuous turns down blue runs and load and unload the ski lift independently.
Location
Loki Lift
Pick up and drop off for practices will be at the base of Loki Lift.
Races will take place throughout the region on weekdays and are optional. Click here to see the ski race calendar. (Middle School Ski Team can also participate in weekend races with Race Academy.)
Ski Pass / Equipment
Race Gear Needed
Your ski pass is not included in program registration fees and will need to be purchased separately. Once you register for the Middle School Team, you will receive an email with a link, username and password for discounted ski passes. Click here to see the discounted rates.
Skiers will race Slalom and Giant Slalom and will need race gear for safety.
Skis
Can have separate Giant Slalom and Slalom – or one pair that works for both.
Boots
It’s very important to have the right fit for racing. Please ask coaches/shops to assess.
Helmet
Slalom - chin bar is required.
Giant Slalom - no chin bar allowed, it will need to be removed.
Additional gear not required but helpful:

Back pad
Speed suit

Ask your coaches for help and guidance with acquiring ski gear.

NOTE: Race academy students can participate in Middle School Ski Team races for no additional fee. If you have signed up for the Race Academy, do not sign up for the Middle School Ski Team.
Need financial assistance? Click here for scholarship information.
NOTE: When you register, you will want to register for 2+ day Race Academy. While registering, you will be able to select Middle School Race Team. If you participate in 3 or 4-day race academy, you will have the option of practicing with the middle school team two days per week.
